How to turn JPG photos into one PDF
Need one PDF instead of a folder of photos? Here is how to turn JPG images into a single PDF with the pages in order and a file size you can send, for free, without uploading anything.
When you need a PDF instead of photos
Application forms, expense reports, school work and landlords often ask for one PDF, not a pile of pictures. A PDF keeps your pages in order and opens the same on every device. Common examples are photographed receipts, signed forms, a set of document pages, or a small photo album.
Step by step
- Open the tool.Go to imgLop's Images to PDF tool. It is free and needs no account.
- Add your images.Choose your JPG files, or drag them in. PNG, WEBP and HEIC work too, and you can mix them. You can add up to 60 images. Use Add more to add others and Clear all to start again.
- Put them in order.Drag an image to a new place, or use Move up and Move down, which are easier on a phone. Each image becomes one page.
- Pick the page size.Choose A4 or US Letter for pages you may print, or Fit to image so each page matches its picture.
- Set orientation, margin and page color.Leave Orientation on Auto. Margin can be None, Small or Normal. Page color (White, Light gray or Black) shows around images that do not fill the page.
- Choose the quality.Pick Small file if the PDF must stay under an email or upload limit, Balanced for everyday use, or High for the most detail.
- Create and download.Type a file name, click Create PDF, then Download PDF.
Settings for common jobs
| Job | Page size | Quality |
|---|---|---|
| Upload to an online form with a size limit | Fit to image | Small file |
| Receipts for an expense report | A4 or US Letter | Balanced |
| Photographed document pages | A4 or US Letter, Small margin | Balanced |
| A photo album to share | Fit to image | High |
Tips
- Photograph pages flat, in even light. Shadows and tilt make text harder to read. Fill the frame with the page.
- Too big for the upload? Run it again with Quality on Small file. You can also shrink the photos first in the Resize & compress tab.
- Check the order before you create the PDF. It takes seconds.
- Only one file allowed? That is the usual reason to make a PDF. Combine all the pages into one, then upload it.
Privacy: The PDF is built in your browser. Your images, including IDs, receipts and forms, are not uploaded anywhere. The tool is free with no daily limit.
