How does imgLop remove backgrounds for free?
imgLop runs an AI vision model directly in your browser to separate the main subject from everything behind it, keeping the original resolution intact.
Are my uploaded photos kept private?
Yes. Processing happens entirely in your browser, and your images are never uploaded to our servers or used to train models.
Can I edit iPhone HEIC photos?
Absolutely. HEIC/HEIF files are decoded automatically so you can cut them out and download as PNG or JPG.
What can the brush tools do?
After the AI removes the background, open Refine to erase leftover pieces, restore details that were removed by mistake, or use Magic erase to clear enclosed areas such as the inside of an “O”. You can undo and redo every edit.
Is there a daily limit?
Free guests get 5 full-resolution credits every day. This limit only applies to AI background removal — PDF conversion and QR generation have no daily limit. imgLop Pro, coming soon, will be $4.99/month or $39.99/year for unlimited cutouts. Credits reset at midnight in your time zone, and brush tools, crop and downloads never use credits (and neither do failed removals).
What does imgLop Pro include?
imgLop Pro is coming soon. When it launches it will cost ($4.99/month, or $39.99/year — about 33% less) and include unlimited cutouts and batches with ZIP download, and the erase, restore and Magic erase brush tools.
Is the Image-to-PDF converter free and unlimited?
Yes. Converting images to PDF is free for basic use with no daily limit. Everything is compiled locally in your browser, so your files are never uploaded to our servers.
Is the QR code generator free and private?
Yes. Create as many QR codes as you like, pick your own colors and download a PNG. Your text or link is processed 100% in your browser and never sent to our servers.
Do the PDF and QR tools need an account or software?
No. They run right in your browser with nothing to install and no sign-up.
Can I remove backgrounds from many photos at once?
Yes. Drop up to 40 photos to run a batch. Free users can batch up to their remaining daily credits, and imgLop Pro, coming soon, will have unlimited batches plus a one-click “Download all as ZIP”. Everything is processed in your browser.
Do I need an account for imgLop Pro?
Yes, once it launches. The free tools never need an account, but imgLop Pro will require creating one with your email so your subscription is tied to you and works on any device. Your photos, PDFs and QR text still never leave your browser.
How do I cancel, and what is the refund policy?
imgLop Pro isn’t on sale yet, so there is nothing to cancel right now. Once it launches, you can cancel any time from Account → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep imgLop Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged in error, contact support within 14 days and we will review it. See the Terms of Service for details.
Are taxes included in the price?
Prices exclude any applicable taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax. Where required, they may be added based on your location.
